USAGE BY FIREBRIGADES AND RESCUE SERVICESOil and petrol on concrete or pavement
The occasionally used method of covering oil and petrol leaks with a layer of concrete only provides a temporary troubleshooting, due to the fact that this method gives the new concrete more road grip, but on the other hand, the enclosed liquids (petrol, diesel or oil) will start to corrode the newly laid pavement from the inside. Eventually too much water will soak into the ground and soil thus ruining the roadway and pavement during the next frost.
FAXOL F80 prohibits the infiltration of oily substances into the roadway and pavement and dissolves those already on the surface.
FAXOL does not bind the oil, it neutralises and liquidates it. Faxol splits the oil into smaller and smaller bits and accelerates the natural decomposition. The achievement of this operation is clearly and, first and foremost, immediately visible: the disappearance of the typical “oily-rainbow”.
Easier disposal due to “non-infiltration”
FAXOL F80 splits the oil-particles (on the surface and in the soil) into smaller and smaller bits and coats them. That way, this “new substance” does not infiltrate into the soil or bubbles up (in case the oil has already been absorbed by the soil). On the surface a milky substance aka emulsion will appear which can be removed or (corresponding to local laws) washed away easily.
Yet another benefit, compared to conventional binding material (like sand or granules), is that due the fact that Faxol is a liquid it can be used in any weather condition like wind or even storm, unlike granules (granules or sand will get blown away in windy weather conditions and therefore cannot fulfil their duty).
